Review of Medicaid Management Information System Prepayment Edit in the District of Columbia

Between January 1, 2005, and December 31, 2007, the District of Columbia made unallowable Medicaid payments of at least $743,000 ($520,000 Federal share) because it did not review claims that were flagged by a prepayment edit in the Medicaid Management Information System.
