After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, (UT Southwestern), Texas, agreed to pay $39,643.70 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that UT Southwestern submitted claims for reimbursement for anesthesia services that were not provided as claimed.
